LARK Circle 2025

ALIA LARK is delighted to offer a new round of LARK Circles to colleagues interested in practice-based research in library and information studies. The purpose of LARK Circles is to facilitate research-related collegial conversation and peer support in the form of learning circles. This is our third round of LARK Circles. In 2025, LARK will offer one cycle of six monthly meetings starting on 30 April. All meetings are online.

LARK Circles are facilitated by two experienced researchers, an academic and a practitioner. This year the facilititors are Assoc Prof Bhuva Narayan (UTS) and Dr Suzana Sukovic, Director of Research and Publication (PLC Sydney) and Industry Fellow (UTS). Participants can claim 6 ALIA CPD points for meetings, and additional points for reading and other types of engagement with this program.

Cost: Free for ALIA members, non-members $22

Registrations are open until 15 April at on the ALIA website.

Places are limited and priority will be given to current LIS professionals in Australia. People who participated in the previous LARK Circles are welcome to apply again.
